Where Do You Draw the Line?”  An Ethics Simulation

Grand Hyatt Denver in Denver, CO

11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Mountain)
 (Includes a “working” lunch)

NAMIC ELDP and Leadership Seminar Alumni only

SAVE THE DATE!

Please plan to join your classmates at a very special Continuing Education Workshop for NAMIC’s ELDP and Leadership Seminar alumni at the Grand Hyatt Denver on Monday, October 28, from 11:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. The workshop, supported by the Walter Kaitz Foundation, is being held in conjunction with the 23rd Annual NAMIC Conference taking place in Denver, Colorado on October 26-28 as part of the Cable Connection Fall.

The Continuing Education Workshop is a half-day program that reinforces the linkage between these structured experiences and the real-world decision-making prowess required for building and sustaining career momentum within the cable industry. This year’s topic will be ethical decision making as a building block of a sound business and career strategy.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

Thinking and talking seriously about ethics can be, for many of us, highly uncomfortable.  On those occasions when conversation does flow, there is often a tendency to view the problems and issues from the point of view of some “ideal self.”  In this dynamic simulation, participants will have an opportunity to understand the actual principles that most people use to make ethical decisions.  In addition, they will learn just what is needed to take into account WHAT SHOULD BE without excluding consideration of WHAT IS!

NEXT STEPS

Please stay tuned for more about what NAMIC has in store for you in Denver, including more details and registration information for the Continuing Education Workshop.  In the meantime, mark your calendar NOW to come together with your fellow classmates and other ELDP and Leadership Seminar alumni to take part in this important event!

For additional information and questions, contact Jim Jones, vice president of education
