Programs

  • L. Patrick Mellon Mentorship Program: Established in 1993 and renamed in 1997 in honor of one of NAMIC’s founders, the late L. Patrick Mellon. Facilitates diversity in our industry by pairing top-level industry executives with NAMIC members to assist them with career development strategies.

  • Executive Leadership Development Program: Launched in October 2001, in partnership with UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management, this unique and highly selective program is developed from the perspective of people of color. The program is designed to address some of the industry’s most persistent diversity dilemmas: retention of managers of color; increasing the diversity of the industry’s executive suites; and managing workforce diversity in a global economy.

  • The Leadership Seminar: Modeled after our prestigious Executive Leadership Development Program, this 2-day, local-market seminar is targeted to managers and supervisors of color. Established in 2005, the program will be offered in Atlanta, Georgia and Chicago, IL during 2006. Sponsored by the Walter Kaitz Foundation.

  • Executive Coaching: Extends the benefits of the Executive Leadership Development Program by providing alumni with additional career counseling. Sponsored by the Walter Kaitz Foundation.
